4.1.3.2 Equipment Required
The following equipment is required:
Type CS6003 Calibrator
Decade Resistor
4.1.3.3 Calibration Procedure
Use the following procedure to calibrate the card:
Step 1: Verify that the calibrator ON/OFF switch is OFF.
Step 2: Insert the RTD input card in the calibrator test slot labeled
MUX.
Step 3: Connect the RTD termination card to the connector on the
front of the RTD input card.
Step 4: Turn the calibrator ON.
Step 5: Press the calibrator MUX switch. The calibrator numerical
display shows one of the following:
No Code — The card requires repair; terminate procedure
and obtain a replacement card
0024 — The card has a temperature range of -50

F to
200
°
F; continue procedure
0025 — The card has a temperature range of 100
°
F to
500
°
F; continue procedure
0026 — The card is a special temperature range RTD
card; continue procedure
Any Other Code — The card is not an RTD card or it
requires repair; terminate procedure and obtain a
replacement card
Step 6: Press the calibrator AI1 group mode switch.
